The subtitle refers to markets expecting the Fed to raise interest rates, due to rising inflation expectations. That certainly seems to be what we saw last week, if you refer to the above indicators.
The S&P 500 index was down 1.39%, after a volatile week, amid rising inflation expectations. Hence, monetary policy tightened(passively, at least). and economic growth expectations are down.
I expect more of the same in the coming week, as always, sans surprises. The growth slowdown continues…
